Overview
There's no better way to learn about Norway than to ask Schibsted. The Scandinavian media giant owns Norway's largest newspapers, Verdens Gang (VG) and Aftenposten. It also publishes Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet. Schibsted publishes books through flagship publishing house Chr. Schibsteds Forlag. In addition, it owns and operates printing plants in Norway and Sweden. It also owns a stake in Metronome Film & Television, a TV production house. Vice Chairman Tinius Nagell-Erichsen owns 26% of the company. The company has sold its 50.5% stake in its Swiss edition of 20 Minutes (20 Minuten) to Express Zeitung, a unit of tamedia.
