Overview
Sauder Woodworking takes the fear out of furniture and makes furniture for the God-fearing. The firm is a top US maker of ready-to-assemble (RTA) furniture and, through Sauder Manufacturing, is a leading manufacturer of church furniture and institutional seating. Its RTA products include such items as computer workstations, desks, entertainment centers, and wardrobes. They're sold under brand names Sauder, Beginnings, Gruga, Steadfast, and Studio Edge. The firm's products are sold through retailers in North America and abroad. Sauder acquired Progressive Furniture, which makes traditional fully-assembled furniture, in 2001. The company was founded in 1934 by Erie Sauder and is still family-owned and -operated.
