Overview
Saint-Gobain Abrasives makes it possible for you to keep your nose to the grindstone. The company -- which, along with Saint-Gobain Ceramics & Plastics, forms the High Performance Materials division of French glass manufacturer Compagnie de Saint-Gobain -- makes and distributes bonded abrasives (grinding wheels), coated abrasives (material applied to paper and cloth), and superabrasives (diamond-based materials). Its products are used to cut, shape, and polish materials, such as ceramics, metals, plastics, and glass. Saint-Gobain Abrasives has 75 plants in 35 countries around the world.
