Sadia Company Description
Sadia aims to feed the world, or at least a large part of it, one meal at a time. One of Brazil's largest pork, poultry (chicken and turkey), and beef suppliers. It serves about 100 domestic and export markets. With some700 products, the company is also one of Brazil's leading makers of convenience frozen foods (such as hamburger patties, pizzas, and ready-to-eat meals) and processed foods (frankfurters and sausages). The company's other products include frozen desserts, margarine, and pasta. It operates 18 production plants in Brazil, one in Russia and one in The Netherlands. In 2009 the company merged with rival Brazilian meat company Perdigão.
