The health system's cornerstone is the Rush University Medical Center, a more than 600-bed academic medical facility that includes a medical school (Rush University), a children's hospital, and an inpatient rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility (the Johnston R. Bowman Health Center). The Rush System family also includes Rush-Copley Medical Center, Rush North Shore Medical Center, and affiliated community hospitals Rush Oak Park Hospital and Riverside HealthCare.
