Interxion opens new data centre in Frankfurt [DMeurope]

Interxion, a European operator of carrier-neutral data centres, has announced that its fifth Frankfurt data centre is now ready for service. A sizeable portion of the 2,500 sq mt data centre has been pre-sold to customers including RTL interactive, Arcor and Plus.line. The opening of the new data centre means that Interxion now operates 23 data centres in 11 countries across Europe.

Jul. 22--I STUMBLED onto a German film crew Monday at work that was videotaping a documentary about a woman from Germany who was searching for her long-lost sister in Belleville. The crew from the company Endemol Deutschland GmbH was at the News-Democrat because a key part of finding the woman was a 1990 classified ad from a couple who wanted to adopt a baby.

BERLIN Sale rumors continue to swirl around pan-European broadcasting group ProSiebenSat.1, newly sparked by pay TV chief Thomas Schultheis, who has become the latest exec to announce his exit. With the group's share price at a five-year low, one regulatory watchdog official has warned that Rupert Murdoch may make a bid, and he criticized a past regulatory decision to block ProSiebenSat.
