Through David Bernard Builders & Developers, the company builds condominiums, townhouses, villas, and detached single-family homes in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and in Florida and Iowa. Its homes range in price from $125,000 to more than $1 million. The company targets a wide range of customers, from first-time and move-up buyers to active adults, retirees, and nontraditional families. Brothers David Rotter (the firm's president) and the late Bernard Rotter (formerly its chairman) founded the company in 1973.
