The company designs digital media players -- including the Roku HD1000 -- that allow users to display digital photos on HDTV. Roku offers digital image galleries that include famous works of art. The company's SoundBridge player, which lets digital music files stored on PCs to be played on home stereos, can be connected either wirelessly or with Ethernet. Products are sold at electronic retail stores such as Best Buy and Fry's Electronics. CEO Anthony Wood founded the company (his sixth) in 2002.
