Renault Company Description
In Renault's road race against rival Peugeot Citroën to be France's dominant automaker, second place will have to deux. Renault manufactures a range of small to midsize cars (including Clio, Laguna, Megane, Modus, Logan, Espace, Twingo, and Scenic) and light commercial vehicles (Kangoo Express, Traffic, and Master). Like most other carmakers, such as rivals General Motors, Ford, Daimler, and Chrysler, Renault is investing heavily in Asia, specifically in Japan. Renault owns a 44% stake in Nissan Motor. The company gets about three-quarters of its sales in western Europe.
