Overview

Regal Beloit might not be able to move mountains, but it does make mechanical motion control and power generation products throughout the world. The company's Electrical Group makes subfractional and large integral AC and DC electric motors (LEESON Electric, Lincoln Motor, and Marathon Electric brands) used for heating and air conditioning, as well as generators for prime and standby power. Its Mechanical Group makes bevel gears, aftermarket auto and marine transmissions, gear reducers, and gear drives used in conveyors, waste treatment facilities, and street pavers. The company's primary customers include distributors and equipment makers. Regal Beloit gets about three-quarters of its sales in the US.
