Power-One Company Description
One may be the loneliest number, but it can be a powerful one. Power-One makes power supplies that include AC/DC converters and voltage power switchers for use in communications, semiconductor testing equipment, and medical, industrial, and other electronic gear. The company sells more than 2,500 types of power supplies, mostly to OEMs. Power-One's customers include Agilent, Cisco Systems, Motorola, Nokia, Siemens, and Teradyne. Customers in the communications industry account for about half of the company's sales. Power-One also sells its products through electrical component distributors. More than two-thirds of sales come from outside of North America.
