The company harvests timber from 1.7 million acres of timberlands in Arkansas, Idaho, Minnesota, Oregon, and Wisconsin. It processes and sells wood and paper products, mainly to wholesalers. Potlatch operates over a dozen manufacturing facilities, including lumber mills, pulp and paperboard mills, and tissue-converting facilities. Its products include plywood, particleboard, and lumber. Potlatch also makes pulp-based forest products such as bleached kraft pulp, paperboard, tissues, paper towels, and napkins. The company is one of North America's leading producers of retail private-label and store-brand tissue products.
