Pogo Jet Company Description
Pogo Jet hopes to give customers a jumpstart toward their destinations. The development-stage company plans to provide private jet charter services between secondary airports, primarily in the northeastern and mid-Atlantic US. Pogo Jet hopes to charge less than other charter services and to attract travelers from commercial airlines by offering nonstop flights and reduced check-in times. The company intends to use Eclipse 500 very light jets (VLJs), which will carry up to three passengers and two pilots. Pogo Jet filed for an IPO in 2007, but the company has postponed the offering because of market conditions.
