Piraeus Bank also provides its services through its electronic Winbank business, which includes ATMs, Internet, and phone banking. With a diversified loan portfolio, the company has no exposure to subprime loans or related products. Piraeus Bank was founded in 1916 and was under state control from 1971 through 1991.
