A division of Pioneer Hi-Bred International and, another step or two up the ladder, of DuPont, Pioneer Overseas Corporation is an agricultural research-based company. Pioneer Overseas develops seed technology and works on genetically modified crops. Its primary GM crops are hybrids of corn, sorghum, sunflower, and canola. Headquartered in Iowa, it operates (along with Pioneer Hi-Bred) more than 100 research stations worldwide. Additionally the company maintains about 75 production locations worldwide.
