Pinnacle Gas Company Description
Pinnacle Gas Resources' mission culminates in the development of US natural gas reserves. The company focuses on acquiring and developing coalbed methane (CBM) properties in the Rocky Mountain region. It owns natural gas and oil leasehold interests in 332,000 net acres in areas including the Powder River Basin and Green River Basin in Wyoming and Montana. Formed in 2003, Pinnacle Gas Resources owns interests in 529 gross wells on its property. In 2006 the company had proved reserves of 20.3 billion cu. ft. of natural gas equivalent. In 2007 Pinnacle Gas Resources' agreed to be acquired by Quest Resource. That company terminated the agreement the next year, however.
