Pinewood Shepperton Company Description
Pinewood Shepperton Studios has carved a place for itself as one of the world's top film and TV production facilities. The firm provides entertainment producers with access to more than 35 soundstages, about 200 acres of backlots and grounds for location shooting outside London (woods, orchards, a mansion), and one of Europe's largest water tanks. Pinewood Shepperton also offers post-production facilities and such services as editing and sound recording. The studio also serves the advertising industry. While numerous popular movies have been filmed at Pinewood Shepperton, its most famous tenant is MGM's James Bond franchise, whose association with the company began with the first film, Dr. No, in 1962.
