The company secures at least 15% of the international cigarette market outside the US. Its top brands (by sales volume) are Marlboro (the world's top-selling cigarette), L&M, Bond Street, Philip Morris, Chesterfield, and Parliament; popular local brands include Fortune, Morven Gold, and Dji Sam Soe. PMI's portfolio spans the price spectrum with premium, mid-priced, and value-priced products. Since its separation from Altria in 2008, PMI has gone on an international shopping spree, acquiring cigarette as well as smokeless tobacco makers.
