Its PFG-Customized distribution division serves chain restaurants such as Cracker Barrel and Ruby Tuesday, while its Roma Food unit supplies pizzerias, Italian restaurants, and specialty food shops. PFG subsidiary Vistar is a distributor of candy, snacks, and convenience foods for vending operators, retailers, and concessions. The company was taken private in 2008 by The Blackstone Group and Wellspring Capital Management.
