Overview

When it's time to eat out, Performance Food Group (PFG) delivers. The #3 broadline foodservice distributor in the US (behind SYSCO and U.S. Foodservice), PFG supplies more than 68,000 products to restaurants, hotels, and other hospitality operators through its 18 distribution facilities. Its Customized Distribution division serves specifically chain restaurants such as Cracker Barrel and Ruby Tuesday through about 10 facilities around the country. Its subsidiary Vistar is a leading supplier of specialty foods for both foodservice and vending operators. The company was taken private in 2008 by The Blackstone Group and Wellspring Capital Management.
