Overview

Pentair is pumped about water! Water, the company's largest business segment, manufactures water flow and filtration products for the residential and commercial construction projects (55% and 13%, respectively, of segment sales) and municipal markets (14%). Pentair's technical products segment manufactures custom enclosures (under such name brands Hoffman and Schroff) that house and protect sensitive electronics, as well as thermal management systems used in industrial (35% of segment sales), communications (25%), electronics (10%), and energy (10%) industries. Products are sold to a network of distributors, OEMs, water treatment facilities, retailers, and pool and electrical contractors.
