Overview

Pentair is pumped about water! The company's main operating segment focuses on water circulation and filtration products and systems for the commercial, residential, and municipal markets. That segment also manufactures pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, cleaners, and automatic controls. Pentair's other business segment manufactures custom enclosures (under such brands as Hoffman and Schroff) that house and protect sensitive electronics and thermal management systems in the automotive, heavy machinery, medical, security, and telecommunications industries. Products are sold to distributors, OEMs, water treatment facilities, home centers, pool contractors, and electrical contractors.
