Come on and party, America! PA Acquisition (dba Party America) wants to make throwing a party as easy as cake. The company's Party America and The Paper Factory stores sell just about everything you need for a party, except the cake; they offer balloons, costumes, decorations, invitations, make-up, tableware, and wigs -- not to mention those must-have party favors. Party America's 2004 acquisition of Party Concepts helped grow the company into the second-largest party-store chain in the US (behind Party City), with about 300 stores nationwide. PA Acquisition was acquired by AAH Holdings for nearly $43 million in September 2006. Its previous owner, Gordon Brothers Group, LLC, acquired Party America in 1998.
