Pacific? Atlantic? You name it -- freight forwarder Pacific CMA arranges the transportation of its customers' goods by air and by sea. The company does not own transportation assets; instead, it employs a network of commercial carriers. Many of Pacific CMA's customers are in the garment industry, but the company manages the transportation of all types of cargo. Pacific CMA operates primarily from offices in New York and Hong Kong, and it maintains a network of some 230 agents in about 80 countries worldwide. Chairman and CEO Alfred Lam, through his Buller Services Corp., controls a 66% stake in Pacific CMA.
