France Telecom España (which does business as Orange España) is one of Spain's leading mobile phone operators; the company competes heavily with Telefónica Móviles and Vodafone. Primarily a wireless carrier, it serves more than 12 million retail and commercial customers. About 1 million of those are broadband Internet and Internet telephony subscribers. Web connections, as well as information and entertainment portal services, are provided under the Ya.com brand. The company also provides consulting and project managment services to business clients through its Orange Business Services division. France Telecom España is a subsidiary of France Telecom.
