Opel may be into saloons and boots, but it ain't no cowboy. Saloons are the British equivalent of sedans (four-door passenger cars with front and back seats) with boots (rear trunks). General Motors Ireland (dba Opel Ireland), a division of GM, is responsible for marketing the company's saloons in Ireland, as well as providing fleet sales and leasing. Models include the Astra, the mini Agila, Corsa, Insignia (replacing the Vectra), and Zafira; commercial vehicles include the Astravan, Corsavan, Movano, and Vivaro. Opel Ireland has around 40 dealers and sells approximately 20,000 cars per year in Ireland.
