Lock your keys in your car? Damage to your ego will be minimal if your car has OnStar. A division of General Motors, OnStar offers a range of services to motorists that make driving easier and safer. With OnStar's Safe & Sound Plan, you can have your doors unlocked, get roadside assistance, or notify emergency personnel -- all with the push of a dash-mounted button (or a phone call if you're locked out). Other basic services include airbag deployment notification and remote diagnostics. Under OnStar's Directions & Connections Plan, drivers also enjoy services like turn-by-turn navigation and hotel reservations. The OnStar service is available in most of the US and in parts of Canada, as well as China.
