Company Description

Toray Plastics (America) could sing "foam, foam on the range, where the polyester and polypropylene materials are made" all day. Toray Plastics (America), or TPA, is the only US producer of polypropylene (PP) and polyester films. Its PEF division uses polypropylene, polyethylene (PE), and olefin foams to make products such as automotive trim and building flooring underlay. Polyester and polypropylene films are used in packaging and industrial applications. TPA is a subsidiary of Tokyo-based Toray Industries (a manufacturing conglomerate of synthetic and carbon fibers, plastics, chemicals, and high performance films). TPA, founded in 1985, also sells films manufactured by Toray in Europe and Asia.
