Company Description

Southern Natural Gas operates an 7,600-mile long natural gas pipeline (SNG System), which serves major markets across the southeastern US. This system transports more than 3 billion cu. ft. of natural gas per day. The SNG pipeline system has about 60 billion cu. ft. of underground working natural gas storage capacity. Major customers include Atlanta Gas Light Company, Alabama Gas, Southern Company, and SCANA. Southern Natural Gas is a part of El Paso Corporation's Pipeline Group.
