Company Description

How sweet it is: Snapple Beverage produces more than 50 varieties of sweetened and diet ready-to-drink teas, juice drinks, and waters. Marketed as "the Best Stuff on Earth," the Snapple brand lineup is flavored with familiar fruits (apple and lemon) as well as the exotic (pomegranate and papaya). Drinks are sold direct to food/beverage retailers, mass merchandisers, and such foodservice venues as school cafeterias in the US and some 80 other countries. Snapple was formerly part of the UK's Cadbury Schweppes. As part of the candy/beverage company's 2008 breakup, Cadbury Schweppes sold its beverage unit, including Snapple, to the Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages company, now known as Dr Pepper Snapple Group.
