Plantation Pipe Line, one of the largest petroleum products pipeline companies in the US, delivers gasoline, jet fuel, diesel, and heating oils through its 3,100 mile pipeline network which serves oil refiners and fuel wholesalers through connection points in Atlanta, Birmingham, Charlotte, Washington, DC, and other destinations in the Southeast. Plantation Pipe Line delivers more than 600,000 barrels per day to more than 30 delivery points. Kinder Morgan Energy Partners owns a 51% interest in the company, which was founded in 1940. Exxon Mobil owns the rest.
