Company Description

Orthometrix makes computed tomography (CT) scanners and exercise machines that promote musculoskeletal health. Its CT machines measure bone density in the arms and legs and are sold to biomedical researchers and hospitals under the pQCT and XCT brand names.  In addition to its diagnostic devices, Orthometrix makes VibraFlex exercise systems, with different models geared towards physical therapy, sports medicine, fitness center, and home-use applications. Its Orbasone system uses shock wave therapy to treat chronic pain. Orthometrix sells its products mainly in the US and Canada.
