Company Description

Janney Montgomery Scott offers a bevy of financial products and services through about 100 offices up and down the East Coast. One of the largest regional broker-dealers in the US, the firm offers fixed-income brokerage, equity research, wealth management, and retirement planning, and acts as a market maker for approximately 150 NASDAQ-listed stocks. It also provides investment banking services such as public offerings, private placements, and mergers and acquisitions support to emerging and middle-market companies. Janney has more than $50 billion of assets under management. The company was established in 1832 and acquired by The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company 150 years later.
