Company Description

It's the hamburgers that bring the customers back to Jack's. Jack's Family Restaurants operates a chain of more than 100 burger joints across the Southeast, many of which are located in Alabama. The eateries offer a menu of hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and chicken sandwiches, along with sides, salads, and breakfast items. Most Jack's locations are company-owned; a handful of units in Alabama are franchised. The chain was started in Homewood, Alabama, in 1960 by Jack Caddell, an entrepreneur who was impressed by the early success of McDonald's. Former franchisee Benny LaRussa bought the business in 1989.
