J.F. Shea didn't build Shea Stadium -- but it could have. The real estate, engineering, and construction group provides services for civil engineering, commercial, and residential projects. Flagship division J.F. Shea Construction offers design/build services, while its civil engineering division builds tunnels and water treatment facilities. Group member Shea Homes builds planned communities and other residences in about a half-dozen states. Shea Properties invests in and develops commercial real estate. Other divisions provide construction materials, foundation construction, and venture capital. Shea also owns BlueStar Resort & Golf in Arizona. The Shea family owns J.F. Shea, which was founded in 1881.
