Interactive Prospect Targeting (IPT) is the UK's largest online collector of consumer data, which is used primarily for e-mail, direct mail, and telephone marketing. Using prizes to entice viewers in the UK to participate, IPT has compiled almost 9 million opt-in e-mail addresses and 7 million postal addresses, in addition to a wealth of personal information. It also sells clients access to more than 1 million of its collected land line telephone numbers and 3 million e-mail addresses that are available for rental. IPT supplies lead generation services under the MyOffers, HowGreenAreYou?, MyPropertySpy, and Consolidated Lead Generation brand names. The company was founded in 1999 by CEO Lionel Thain.
