Company Description

Investment bank Imperial Capital Group provides, through its subsidiaries, financial services primarily to middle-market corporations and institutional investors. These services include institutional sales and trading, investment banking and restructuring, and institutional research on more than a dozen industries. The company operates out of its headquarters in Los Angeles and additional offices in cities including Boston, Houston, New York, Minneapolis, and San Francisco. Imperial Capital is owned by CEO and chairman Jason Reese and company president Randall Wooster, who founded Imperial Capital in 1997. The firm postponed taking itself public in February 2010, just months after filing its IPO.
