Company Description

If your holiday involves a road trip across the northern tier of the US, chances are you'll encounter a Holiday Stationstore. Holiday Companies, through its subsidiary Holiday Stationstores, operates more than 400 convenience stores (some 125 of which are franchised) in about 10 states, including Michigan,Washington and Alaska under the Holiday Stationstores banner. The shops sell the company's own brand of Blue Planet gasoline (low-sulfur fuel available in Minnesota, North and South Dakota, and Wisconsin). Holiday Companies began in 1928 as a general store in a small Wisconsin town by two Erickson brothers, whose descendants still own and run the company.
