Company Description

If Bugs Bunny were to visit Grimmway, he would think he'd died and gone to heaven. The company, which does business as Grimmway Farms, produces everything carrot -- from bagged carrots to carrot coins, carrot juice, carrot sticks, and good ol' carrot bunches. It is, in fact, the world's largest producer of baby carrots under the Bunny Luv label; it sells organic vegetables under the Cal-Organic Farms name. The company processes the crops grown on some 40,000 acres of California farmland. Grimmway's fresh carrots are sold at food retailers and foodservice operators worldwide. As if carrots weren't enough, it also offers potatoes and citrus fruits. The family-owned company was formed by Rod and Bob Grimm in 1968.
