Gray Television has The Eye for local television markets. The company is the largest independent operator of TV stations affiliated with the CBS network, with 17 stations in more than a dozen states. In total the company operates more than 35 stations in 30 midsized and smaller markets mostly in the Midwest and South. Its other stations are affiliated with ABC, NBC, and FOX. In addition to traditional analog signals, Gray Television broadcasts an additional 40 digital channels mostly carrying programming from The CW and MyNetworkTV. Former CEO J.
