Company Description

Enable Holdings (formerly uBid.com Holdings) is a multi-channel seller of refurbished and closeout merchandise that hosts both online and live auctions. In addition, its RedTag.com site offers merchandise at a fixed price, instead of through an auction process. Through its Dibu Trading Company, the company helps businesses sell entire inventories in a single transaction. Enable's merchandise includes computers, automobiles, and other consumer goods from some 200 product categories, and comes directly from manufacturers such as Hewlett-Packard, IBM, and Sony. As a result of the credit markets drying up, Enable Holdings was forced to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in September 2010.
