Company Description

The gel coats are cookin' at Cook Composites and Polymers (CCP), which is the North American resins division of TOTAL's chemicals division. CCP is the world's #1 supplier of gel coats and also manufactures powder coating and composite resins in addition to industrial cleaners and maintenance products. Its products are used for marine, construction, and transportation applications. They go into such diverse products as furniture, cookware, showers and tubs, and in RV and truck panels. CCP has its headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri. In 2010 French chemicals company Arkema  acquired CCP and other assets of TOTAL's chemicals business in a $730 million deal.
