Company Description

Communications Test Design (CTDI) repairs, installs, tests, and manufactures telecommunications equipment. The company's main business is providing repair and maintenance services to wireless and wireline carriers, and cable companies, as well as equipment makers such as Alcatel Lucent and Cisco. It also offers warehousing and distribution services, product testing, and equipment installation -- from laying cable to installing customer premise equipment. Additionally, CTDI makes a line of broadband switching and access equipment and provides contract manufacturing services. The company was founded in 1975 by chairman and CEO Jerry Parsons, his father Donald, and brother Dick. CTDI is owned and led by the Parsons family.
