Company Description

Carter knows more than just peanuts about real estate. The company provides commercial real estate development, project management, investment, and consulting services. It has more than $2.5 billion in assets under management. Carter also has developed several projects, including Atlantic Station, a 800,000 sq. ft. mixed use property in Atlanta. Carter has offices in Atlanta; Birmingham, Alabama; Raleigh, North Carolina; and Tampa, Florida. A member of the ONCOR International consortium, the privately held company was founded in 1958. Carter sold its property management and brokerage business to commercial real estate company Cassidy Turley in 2011.
