This company serves hot Joe to the java herd. Caribou Coffee operates the second-largest non-franchised coffee chain in the US (based on the number of locations) behind Starbucks with more than 410 stores in about 20 states, mostly in Minnesota. The outlets, designed to resemble mountain lodges, offer fresh-brewed coffee along with specialty coffee drinks and baked goods. The stores also sell whole bean coffee and brewing supplies.
