Company Description

CareMedic's software kept health care providers' budgets from going to into cardiac arrest. Its revenue cycle management software enabled hospitals to speed up the collections and reimbursement process. Its flagship program, eFR (electronic financial record) was a comprehensive software suite used to verify patient financial eligibility, manage the billing and claims cycle to reduce account receivables, and offer recovery and remittance reporting should a claim be denied by Medicare or a private insurance provider. CareMedic had contracts with health care providers across the US and in Puerto Rico. The company, founded in 1997, was acquired by Ingenix in 2010 for an undisclosed amount.
