Company Description

Bristow Group takes its customers for a ride. The company offers helicopter transportation services for offshore petroleum workers and equipment. Offshore Logistics and Bristow Helicopters units and several international affiliates serve oil and gas exploration and production companies in the world's major offshore oil production zones; 80% of its sales come from international operations. Its main operating areas are the North Sea and the Gulf of Mexico. Bristow operates a fleet of almost 400 aircraft, which consists primarily of helicopters and also includes some fixed-wing aircraft. Affiliates operate another 200 or so aircraft. Customers Shell Oil and Chevron generate about 20% of company sales.
