Company Description

Imagine, if you can, a ski bum who loves to drink beer. Actually, that's not so hard to imagine. So it was with Richard Squire, who ended his search for the perfect sudsy quaff by brewing his own. As the popularity of his beers grew, Squire spent less time on the slopes and more time brewing beer. Today, his Colorado-based Breckenridge Brewery, which officially got its start in 1990, offers an array of ales, including Avalanche Ale and Agave Ale; porters in flavors such as vanilla and oatmeal; and a dark beer named Pandora's Bock. The company operates three breweries and several company-owned pubs and restaurants in and around Denver. Its beers also can be bought at retailers in more than 25 other US states.
