Company Description

Products from Bio-Engineered Supplements & Nutrition (BSN) aren't for wimps. The company makes bodybuilding supplements and sports nutrition products that are distributed in 90 countries. Its line of about 20 supplements come in capsules, liquids, and powders, and they're sold online or at retailers such as GNCGold's Gym, and Vitamin Shoppe. BSN uses professional bodybuilders who act as spokesmodels to sell the products.  It also has a cross-promotional marketing partnership with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). BSN was founded in 2001 by CEO Chris Ferguson and his partner Chris James. Ireland's Glanbia acquired BSN in 2011 to bulk up its Performance Nutrition business.
