Associates is a leading franchisee of Long John Silver's fast-food restaurants, with about 100 locations in Indiana, Kentucky, and Michigan. The employee-owned company also operates several Wendy's hamburger franchises along with a handful of Denny's and Grandy's family eateries. In addition to restaurants, B.R. Associates operates a Days Inn motel and the Jasper 8 Cinema in Jasper, Indiana. Founders Bob and Lovella Ruckriegel opened their first restaurant in 1964.
