Company Description

Administering medical care to Georgia Peaches is the Appling HealthCare System. The not-for-profit provides a variety of health care services to the residents in southeastern Georgia through a 40-bed community hospital (of which half the beds are slated for geriatric behavioral care), a long-term acute-cute care facility with about 100 beds, and an emergency medical services unit. The system is also home to a number of primary and specialty care practices such as Appling Pediatrics, Appling Medical Group, and the South Georgia Medical Group. Appling HealthCare System is governed by the Baxley-Appling County Hospital Board Authority.
